Description

The nature of slate means that it is nearly always in a thin flat sheet of random shapes. It makes it great for walking on and making decorative borders or landscape projects. The smaller sized slate chippings (20 mm) is better for driving on as you get better traction when pulling away. Saying that many customers use 40 mm for driveways and love the bigger look, and face it, if you floor the throttle any gravel will spew up. The Plum Slate has a distinct purple tinge and a very contemporary look and out sells blue 5 to 1.
